Journey of Greatness!
This is my new life. Something had to change, and everyone knows that change begins with in. It started back in April of 2009, when my wife Heather of 5 years had a break down. She shed tears, with the a heart full of fear that I may pass away from being severely obese. She said something that has stuck into my head from that day. "You never see obese old men", and from that day on, I never looked back. Welcome to our journey, "The Journey of Greatness"!

Set 3 of 3
This is my last and final set. At the end Omar asks Heather to move to see if I can accomplish 2 reps on my own, by myself, with no spot, and I did. The greatest day of working out by far. DID I MENTION I AM A PARAPLEGIC!!
Set 2 of 3
This is my 2nd set. Here I was getting the feel of it. Still a bit scared as you can tell in my face, but it got done! Listen to Omar as he coaches me! "You're making me proud"!

Set 1 of 3
Set 1 of 3 with my personal trainer Omar at todays session. I can't dead-lift off the floor, so he had to improvise with the ideas of a fellow trainer Fred Caron. This was something that I was totally afraid of doing. I'm afraid of falling, but with the help of my badass trainer, my wife, and our close friend Raquel, I managed to over-come my fear and get it done! *I DID SAY 1 OR 2 CURSE WORDS OUT OF FRUSTRATION MY APOLOGIES*

Custom Built Personal Training Photo Shoot!
Its been a minute.
Well, a lot has been going on since the last time I posted a blog! To start off I'm down 57 pounds from 485 to 428 and Heather has dropped from 210 to 175! Ive managed to walk a whole mile, and Heather has started running 4-5 miles a day. We were also approached with a offer that we couldn't refuse. We are now sponsored by the training company that we train with Custom Built Personal Training. We also recently did a "Promotional" photo shoot for the company! A lot of good things have came out of 2010. We both can not wait for what 2011 has in store for us. Here is a recent picture of us after our weight loss!

My walk of FAME!
Well as many of you know, Heather and I have been hitting the gym 6 days a week. We struggle with cardio, but its just getting back on track. Heather injured her ankle so that left her out the game for at least 3 weeks. Before that she was running 3 miles and I was walking 1 quarter of a mile. Now that her foot is all healed, its getting back on that saddle thats hard. Not to mention we are in the process of moving, so thats even harder on us. We really need to get cracking on this, so I up'ed my walking game. I am proud to say that I can officially walk a full HALF of MILE!! I never once thought I would be able to that, but it was done. All I need to do now is complete that second half and make it ONE FULL MILE! Heather has made a full recovery as i stated before and now she is running one mile in a little under 8 minutes! She is really pushing her self to the limit and I know we bother are going to get it done! Well thats a little update on us, and I will make sure to get our 5 month pics and weight and measurements as well!
